Keep the shape of your days.
Fethr is a private diary for iPhone. Write a line, add a photo, check in somewhere, or say it out loud. It lands on your Timeline right away. Shaping it into something can wait.
Record first. Shape later.
Most of a life never gets written down, because writing it down feels like work. Fethr asks for nothing before it saves: no title, no audience, no folder. One sentence or a blurry photo is a whole record. Gather records into an Event or a folder later, if you want to.
- Timeline
- One private thread through your days. A check-in drops your place; quiet automatic check-ins sketch the route. No likes, no comments.
- Kept
- Your library of starred records, Events and folders, and Places: your own names for spots, your visits, and a monthly look at where your days went.
- Blog
- For when something deserves telling. Rich text, photos, drawing beside the words, and voice with a transcript. Start from a few Timeline records.
- Pinboard
- A freeform canvas of photos, stickers, drawings and widgets. One board is the front door of your profile; the others stay hidden until you share a link.
- Messages
- Talk with one person or a small group, or reply to a moment someone shared with you.
- Feed
- What the people you follow chose to share: Blog entries, broadcasts and live Events. That's all it holds.
Private until you say otherwise.
Recording never shares anything. Showing something to someone is always its own step, and each kind of sharing has its own place.
- A Blog entry
- To everyone, followers, mutuals, close friends, or a group you pick.
- A broadcast
- Chosen records for six hours, a day or two days. Then it's gone.
- A shared folder
- For a trip or a family. Members read along and can add their own.
- A Pinboard link
- Like giving someone the address of your room.
Left out on purpose
No Explore page, no reposts, no hashtags. No always-on location: places come from a check-in, or from quiet traces taken only while the app is open.
